John 4:14
Anyone who drinks the water I give
will never thirst – not ever.
The water I give will be an artesian spring
within, gushing fountains of endless life.
[The Message]
For those who do not know what they are looking for,
but long for that which is not found.
For those who long to hear the divine whisper
in the stillness of the night.
For those who desire a quiet, serene,
authentic experiential worship of the
Triune God.
Living Water is a new worship experience being developed by Christ Episcopal Church on Staten Island. Centered around the ancient Compline liturgy, it will combine fellowship, food, prayer, study, and worship on Sunday evenings starting Fall ‘07. No pretentions, no “show” – rather, this is a safe place to seek the triune God: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Christ Church is located on Franklin Avenue off of Richmond Terrace, 5 minutes from the SI ferry. We are a diverse, progressive, multi-generational, growing, and family friendly Episcopalian congregation.
The Sunday Morning worship is as follows:
|
7:30 |
Morning Prayer (Chapel) |
| 8:00 | Holy Eucharist (Chapel) |
| 10:00 | Holy Eucharist (High Altar) This service incorporates all the members of our parish, young and old. |
